Welcome to Tuk Tuk Microbrewery
Visitors to Franschhoek are now able to “Park off for a pint” and indulge in the new and exciting cuisine offering at Tuk Tuk Microbrewery. World renowned local chef and restaurateur, Darren Badenhorst, will be taking over the reins in what promises to be an exciting and fresh offering to what has quickly become a landmark Microbrewery in Franschhoek’s main street.
Guests can be seated indoors (interiors exude an industrial feel with its vaulted ceiling, exposed brick and sandblasted walls, and copper and stainless steel service pipes running overhead) around the microbrewery and watch fine craft beer being expertly brewed right in front of them, or outdoors where they can watch their pizza being baked in the hand crafted imported pizza oven alongside the bustling main street.
The all-day dining menu is globally inspired offering showcasing casual regional favourites from Italy, Germany, India, Mexico, USA and Great Britain. Specialties include incredible tacos, traditional eisbein, wood fired pizzas, classically made mutton rogan josh, creative s’mors and CBC beer batter fish and chips, just to name a few of the delectable and diverse dishes guests can expect when visiting Tuk Tuk.
The beloved Tuk Tuk craft beer range of five specially crafted brews that are unique to the microbrwery, one of which is seasonal and only available while the batch lasts, as well as a selection of five craft beers from the CBC range will continue to be on offer (with tasting options for both).
Added to the beverage list will be The Kloof Street wine range from Mullineux and Leeu Family wines. And a creative cocktail menu offering the classics to bespoke mixtures.
